As a teacher in a pre-primary school, one needs to focus on the development of natural abilities like speech, cognition, and sensory-motor in children. Child development takes place through efficient learning modes. It allows development a child’s personality by exposing the creativity of the child in a natural way. Pre-primary education helps to learn how a child can adjust to his/her peers and interact with outsiders. It ensures the physical, mental, and emotional growth of the child.

Curriculum

A ‘Web of activities’ can be followed by laying down the objective, content, methodology and evaluation.

Themes are selected to widen the understanding of the child and are selected from the child’s immediate environment and based on the child’s interests. Themes could be categorized.

Subjects

Nursery, PPI, PPII – English, II Language, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Rhymes, Story narration, Phonetics. 

“Optional Subjects” Second Language offered: 

  1. Second Language is offered from PPI
  2. Second Language subjects offered:  Hindi/Telugu (Prefer Mother Tongue)
